Cowboys and Kids 5K Details
Join us for our second annual Cowboys and Kids 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run! The event starts and ends at Resistol Arena in Mesquite. Afterwards, don’t miss the post-race festivities, which will include great activities and fun for kids.

WHERE:
Run with the Mesquite Rodeo bulls! We will start and finish at The Resistol Arena located at 1818 Rodeo Drive in Mesquite.

FEES:
$20 - Adults 5k (Age 19+) Register by October 2, 2008
$25 - Adults 5k (Age 19+) Register October 13 - 17, 2008
$30 - Adults 5k (Age 19+) Register on October 18, 2008
$10 - Kids 5K (Age 6-12)
$15 - Teens 5K (Age 13-18)
$15 - Adults 1-Mile Fun Run (Age 19+)
$10 - Kids/Teens 1-Mile Fun Run (Age 6 - 19)
AWARDS:
We will have special Cowboys and Kids awards in the 5k for the top male and female overall, top masters male and female and top three male and female finishers in the following age groups:

TIMING:
The Cowboys and Kids 5k will use chip timing at this year's event. We will be featuring the latest chip timing system, IPICO. This system uses timing chips that will be attached to your running shoes. You will get your loaner chip at the event race morning.
PACKET PICKUP AND LATE REGISTRATION:
Register and pick up your packet October 16 or 17.
Pickup at the MEA Office in the MISD Service Center

From the north. Take I-635 South to exit 4 (Scyene Road/Military Parkway). Take exit 4 and bear right on Hickory Tree Road. Turn right on Rodeo Drive and continue to Resistol Arena, located at 1818 Rodeo Drive, Mesquite, TX 75149.
