Cowboys and Kids 5K Details
Event Date: Saturday, October 23, 2010 - 8 a.m.
Join us for our fourth annual Cowboys and Kids 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Run! The event starts and ends at Resistol Arena in Mesquite. Afterwards, don’t miss the post-race festivities, which will include great activities and fun for kids.
Event Schedule:
6:30 – 7:45 a.m. Late Registration and packet pickup
8 a.m. – Start of the 1-mile fun run
8:30 a.m. – Cowboys and Kids 5k start
10 a.m. – Awards
Cost:
$20 Adult 5k through October 8, 2010
$25 Adult 5k October 9, 2010 through race day
$15 Kids/teens (age 6 – 18) 5k
$15 Adults 1-mile fun run (age 13 and over)
$10 Kids 1 mile fun run (age 12 and under)
You can register and pay in person at the MEA Office (2133 N. Beltline Rd., Mesquite) during pick-up or at the event race day.

Packet Pickup:
Thursday, October 21 from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. and on Friday, October 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the MEA Office, located at 2133 N. Beltline in Mesquite (right side entrance). You may also get your packet race morning at the event. You can register and pay in person at the MEA office during pick-up or at the event race day.
Awards:
We will have awards for the top male and female overall, top male and female masters in the 5K. We will present awards to the top three finishers both male and female in the following age groups: 12& Under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+.
Plan on entertainment, good food and fun before and after your run.

All entrants will receive a T-shirt
